My views on RELIGION

in #religion7 years ago

Ok so i was raised catholic for most of my youth. Then i turned apostolic. It was a time were i was so confused on who to believe. And until recently i decided to just leave organized religion. I started to notice things that i have never noticed when i was younger. Most of the time its just our culture and background and environment thats shapes our religious views. For example if you were born in India you have a better chance of bieng Buddhist and you really have no say its the top religion in India. Its the norm there talk against it most people would go against you. Now if you were born in mexico you have a higher chance of bieng catholic. Its the norm there talk against it people would usually go against you also. So now i was getting deeper and deeper into studying religion that my eyes opened up. There tons of good people in any religion and tons of bad also. Theres alot of hate in religions also i see it tears people apart and damages our souls. I see people arguing over who is in the "true" religion instead of helping the needy or becoming better person themselves. I really dont care what your race or religion is meanwhile you show good human character towards me thats all it takes to make me respect you. Most people are to far away from that. They say im in the true religion and dont even try to better themselves and help the people that need help. My dad for example went to church every sunday criticizedScreenshot_20180104-101934.jpg other religions and when a homeless man was asking for a few cents all he did was ignore him or just tell him to get a job. I feel we have to work bieng better people than going against each other becuase of religion. Im not an expert on this im only 17 but i hope i continue to change myself and learn so i can see positive change in the world that i want to see.

My story in a nutshell: first regular Pentecostal, then apostolic Pentecostal, then Seventh Day Adventist and now I am into Judaism. I have not converted or anything but I have been studying it on my own, and it is amazing.... From Christianity Mormons are also appealing, especially the Fundamentalist Mormons who are polygamists and live in Utah or Cennentinial Valley close to Utah.
