So you've probably seen the movie The Matrix which depicts humans being cultivated in incubators by machines that harvest their energy. This is the concept that the movie depicts, perhaps this movie was even produced to distract the general public from the real understanding of the matrix and our consciousness. As I see it, the story of Adam and Eve represents humans in their perfect state of consciousness, fully awake, fully aware, experiencing reality in it's true form. They lived using their kundalini energy (sexual energy) to it's fullest potential, experiencing a sort of permanent orgasmic state, which the Hundus call Kundalini awakening, because it's male and female energy that goes from the base of the spine, up to the third eye region and reunites at the pineal gland region which is required for awaking of the human consciousness. So what happened with Adam and Eve and the fruit of "knowledge"? They "knew" a lower type of orgasm, a physical orgasm reserved for lower consciousnes beings, that physically reproduce. That physical orgasm uses the kundalini energy in an inefficient way, and the result is a deep sleep. They would eventually die in their sleep and in their dream. That was the "death" God was talking about by saying they would "surely die" if they ate from the forbidden fruit. Now that dream they died in became our matrix; a collective dream we're all born into. There's really no difference between the "real" world and the dream world except for the dream world we know of is a personal dream and the real world is collective. We don't really exsist in a physical place somewhere, trapped in incubators, with our bio energy being harvested for the machines, we exist as consciousness, and when we "awaken" we unite with the universal feedback loop of the superconsciousness some people call "God". On a more spiritual, existential note, we are essentially consciousness. Quantum physics says we are just a vibration of energy. The Buddha realized this 2500 years ago, and was enlightened or more accurately: awakened. Fully conscious, a human being is no different from "God", which is why the Buddha (Guatama) was said to have super-human powers to multiply himself and teleport himself etc. The cool part about this is now with the internet and mass communication, we as a human race and a collective consciousness are waking up!! which is the way we are escaping the matrix and walking into reality. Almost everyone is still asleep (myself included) in the original dream of Adam and Eve, but we are also slowly waking up. Each person that awakens a little, can share his or her insight into reality and contribute to human consciousness. The great thinkers, Plato, Socrates, Buddha, Jesus, Mohamad, Lau Tzu and many many more have contributed to human consciousness and awakening, and we must awaken as a collective because it's almost impossible to do without the contributions of our forefathers and our brothers and sisters.
