The Faith

God inspire us at this moment, help us to look at you. Help us to look at each other to rediscover the fullness and mystery we once feel when we unite with you.

Make us honest enough to ask ourselves: Where have we been together and where are we going?
Let us be brave enough to ask ourselves: what have we failed to do?
make us strong enough to ask ourselves: How is our faith?
Help us to examine together: how are the works of that faith that we profess?
Help us in this dialogue with you to revise this commitment acquired under the light of your love, goodwill and service to our brothers.
Almighty God, we put in your hands our faith and love for your son Jesus Christ who gave himself up for us for our salvation.

Jesus said to them then:
"I tell you that if you had faith as a mustard-stone, you would say to this hill: Get out of there and go beyond, and the hill would obey. Nothing would be impossible "(Mt 17,19-21)
Thank you, Lord, for showing us that the fullness of life is found in our faith. We ask that all who are reading this in this can reach the fullness of the seed of your truth that your spirit scatters where you want, because your desire is that we all save ourselves We want to take advantage of the thanks you give us to give good fruits of salvation for ourselves and for our neighbor. We always remember that the acceptance of this service is also a grace of yours, because nothing can without you. Amen.

Reflections

Having faith is "accepting" what God allows in our lives even if we don't understand it, even if we don't like it. If we had the ability to see the end from the beginning as he sees it, then we might know why it sometimes leads our lives through strange ways and contrary to our reason and our desires.

To have faith is to "give" when we don't have, when we ourselves need.
Faith always draws something valuable from the seemingly non-existent; It can make the treasure of generosity shine in the midst of poverty and helplessness, filling with gratitude both to the one who receives and to the one who gives.

To have faith is to "believe" rather than to resort to doubt, which is the easiest. If the flame of confidence is
extinguished, then there is no other choice but to give in to discouragement. For many believe in our goodness, possibilities and talents, as well as those of our fellows, is the energy that moves our life to salvation. But there's still a higher way to believe. To know that our life is in the hands of God and that he is the one who takes care of us.

To have faith is to "guide, direct" Our life, but not with sight, but with the heart. Reason needs a lot of evidence to risk, the heart needs only a glimmer of hope. he most beautiful and great things that life gives us can not be seen, not even palpation, can only caress with the spirit.

Having faith is "getting up" when it's fallen. Setbacks and failures in any area of life sadden us, but it is sadder to remain lamenting on the cold ground of self-pity, trapped by frustration and bitterness.

To have faith is to "risk" everything in exchange for a dream, a love, an ideal. Nothing worthwhile in this life can be achieved without that dose of sacrifice that involves letting go of something or someone, in order to acquire that which improves our own world and that of others.

To have faith is to "see" positively forward, no matter how uncertain the future looks or how painful the past is. Whoever has faith makes today a foundation of tomorrow and tries to live it in such a way that when it is part of his past, he can see it as a pleasant memory.

To have faith is to "trust" but to trust not only in things and in people, but in the God who works, acts and speaks through people. Many trust in the material, but they live in hollow relationships with their peers. True that there will always be people who hurt and betray your trust, so what you have to do is keep trusting and only be more careful with the one you trust twice.
To have faith is to "walk" the ways of life the way a child does. Taken by the hand of our father. To have faith is to leave our problems in God's hands and throw us into his arms before the abyss of despair. Faith is to rest in him to burden us, instead of burdening us our own collection of problems.

Meditate:

Do we accept with faith the will of God?

Do we dedicate time to God in prayer?

Are we ashamed of appearing believer in the face of others?

Prayer

Oh Jesus Redeemer, author and Consummator of our faith, we beseech you from the depths of our hearts that you do not allow the beautiful light of our faith to be extinguished. Remember your old mercies; Look compassionately The vineyard that you planted with your right hand, which has been sprinkled with the blood of thousands and thousands of martyrs, with the tears of generous penitents and the fatigues of jealous apostles and fruitful prayer of so many faithful Christians.
Although we grieve the diseases, we consume the displeasures, we are affected by misfortune, but we do not lack the faith; Because rich with this precious gift, we will gladly endure all pain and nothing can alter our happiness. On the contrary, without the grace of faith, our misfortune would have no limits.amen
God Bless You
