the fascinating thing about the accounts is that Jesus tells the John that the one that I give this morsel to is the one, so Jesus gives Judas the morsel .. "a poison pill" in my view that would allow him to fulfill what he was about to do and then Jesus provides to him an imperative, go do what you are to do. Another commentary has it that Judas was attempting to force Jesus into a position in which he would have to take his rightful position as the King of Jerusalem.. there definitely is more to the story than what is typically told

That will mean Jesus knew already and gave him a go ahead?!

exactly .. So, how would a completely all seeing Clairvoyant not know. All things were committed into his hand .. all means all. BTW .. we do the same thing in our own lives .. that is the model .. what have i done to set myself up for betrayal .. trail by fire
