Religion, the root of evil. (1)

For hundreds, even thousands of years religion has had nearly absolute authority.

Wars were waged in his name and countless people died due to having different opinions,
or simply because they were not complying. I consider it an age where logic was not accepted.

His power, even nowadays can silence people. Under the heresy or blasphemy pretext, science was
Retarded for hundreds of years.

People brainwashed, formatted and socially engineered since ancient times to fight for it making a need for faith.

While preaching peace, all it brought was fanaticism and death. Even real believers ended up consumed by power and greed,
for our is the human nature. If not, they were silenced, played or eventually corrupted.

Our need to believe in an afterlife or a superior being has created a countless number of mythologies through the ages
And left us prone to be controlled massively and limited, on purpose or not. God exists because WE created it, our belief,
into words that were given to us hundreds or thousands of years ago.

Some people have simply grown heavily formatted by beliefs since childhood, making them fervorous followers and preachers
that will accept the words of The Book as priests chosen to interpret them. Let's not forget that until not so long ago,
most of the population were analphabets. It has prevented partially the world from unity till this very day and probably
For a long while further, just because inceptions of prejudices repeated so many times that eventually were believed and
taken as granted.

I would of loved to go deeper but I think it's enough for today, I promise I'll work harder on the second part and perhaps I get to make a somewhat organization to it.

Interestingly enough, there are commonalities and parallels that are outlined throughout the religious and secular ancient texts. They go so far as corroborating each other in many facets. There is truth within it, as long as one is willing to seek it out and aim to not let cognitive dissonance add blinders. Sadly, the greed and corruption that has occurred from generation to generation have led to these sad battles of bloodshed, division, and destruction. The underlying law to live by that is resonated in all is love.

@andulolika not root of evil , just depend on how people accept and understand their religion, that's it.

I just don't know since when it matters people's opinion.
