"We know that when he shall appear, we shall be like him: for we shall see him as he is." 1 John 3.2

Many Christians suffer inwardly because they find biblical accounts in which the Lord manifested Himself visibly to people. Consider, for example, the announcement of the birth of Samson by the Angel of the Lord, or the announcement of the birth of Jesus by the angel Gabriel to Mary. Have you ever wondered how wonderful it would be if something so extraordinary happened to you, too? Have you ever wanted to feel and see a messenger from heaven beside you who came to tell you something or to assign you some task? Would it be easier to believe in God if that happened? No. Rejoice not to experience something like this, for the more you see it, the harder it becomes for pure and simple to believe. Even Zacharias continued in disbelief after the appearance of the angel and after having received his promise. Peter says - to the many believers who love the Lord intimately without having seen Him - that we will still see Him, and then the joy will be much greater. When will this happen? The moment our eyes are opened at the time of the Rapture. Yes, in that moment we will indeed see Him, with unspeakable joy, just as He is!
