A man woke up one day and discovered through DNA that he was not the father of his four children after 24 years of marriage. What next? I think your guess is as good as mine. He filed for a divorce. He was greatly hurt and disappointed. Unfaithfulness of 24 years closed the chapter of that family.
What is it that your spouse can do to you that will make you never to forgive him or her? Think about it!
In every relationship between people on earth, offence will come. Marriage union is not an exception. Marriage is a teacher.
One of the lessons our marriage has taught me over the years is that to move on together, we must forgive each other. We must learn to let go of our past mistakes, errors and offences. Forgiveness is a virtue, only those who have it can enjoy the amazing quietude of a lasting marriage. Forgiveness is not easy, but it is possible.
