Hannah was a property saleswoman and Graham a computer programmer who both enjoyed their work.
They very romantically got engaged on Valentine's Day; and then all the parents started getting involved and things got complicated. Whereas all Hannah and Graham wanted was a simple wedding, with making their promises the main focus, in the Summertime; the families wanted attendants, including a cute little flower girl, in a formal ceremony, in Winter.
Graham and Hannah called the wedding off. They had sorted out their problems and had a life plan worked out, even a schedule for when they would buy a house, have children etc.
but to get married was the problem.
After much discussion, referring to the formal plans to see what they didn't want, they decided to get married in court, with no attendants, just a few witnesses; and hold a reception in a wine estate at the weekend to which everybody would be invited.

That decided, they sent e-mails to the people they would like to come to the ceremony, everyone else got an invite to the wine estate at the weekend. There were some unhappy
people, but most realised that the wedding was for Graham and Hannah, for them to decide how to celebrate, which they did at the wine estate.
And so they did.
