Last year, I tried steam, oh, I tried it. But like so much ice on a hot sidewalk, I fizzled, puffs of vapor roaming the air. So I thought, why not drop off the Internet entirely, ghost the world and become like a ghost in my cozy den of letter writing and hand-stitching. Guess what?
Thirty minutes in, hand-stitching hurts.
