I truly am adding value to Steemit by taking analysis requests from anyone and providing TA that help augment their due diligence.
the 6% figure has been debunked many times. It was actually only ever 0.6% but the original post that got everyone so riled up fudged the numbers. Watch out for who you trust.
I encourage you to go look at the figure for yourself. It is currently at 0.7%. There was even a bugfix release from the dev team fixing that issue. The whole 6% claim was extremely dubious from the beginning and has been discussed and debunked thoroughly.
