Antonio Adán is the goalkeeper elected by Sporting to succeed Rui Patrício. The 31-year-old Spaniard has a contract with Betis until the end of next season and negotiations are ongoing.
No figures are revealed, there will be financial compensation, and provides for the signing of contract for the next few days. Formed in Real Madrid, Adán, covered by Casillas and Diego López, left the Bernabeu in 2013 to represent the Italians of Cagliari. He was not happy to pass for Serie A and at the same time, in January, returned to Spain to represent Betis.
Adán, of 1.90m, has been, since then, indisputable titular of the sevillians. Sporting are in the market for a goalkeeper, after Rui Patrício has been dismissed with just cause. The Portuguese international was negotiated with the Naples, was one step away from Wolverhampton.
