This recipe tastes like the chinese fondue broth of my dad. It tastes like my young years. And you have almost nothing to do. Just pour the ingredients in the crockpot, enjoy the fumet and eat.
Ingredients
1/2 cup white beans
1/2 cup black beans
1/2 cup red beans
2 red onions finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp mexican hot peppers sauce
2 cups vegetable broth
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup BBQ sauce
1/2 cauliflower head, reduce in ''rice''
For the BBQ sauce (give about3 cups)
1/4 cup water
2 cups ketchup
8 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp mustard powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
5 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 tsbp Worcestershire
1 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients of the BBQ sauce. In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower into rice. In the crockpot, add all the ingredients except the cauliflower and heat on High for 5 hours. Then, add the cauliflower and rectify the seasonnings and heat for an additionnal 30 minutes.
