I just want to share with you one of the Bulgarian traditional dish.
Mostly "Baba" or all grandma's make this pastry.
Banitsa is very popular, you can buy it anywhere or you can make it in your own.
Banitsa can be made sweet or salty.
Home made is always the best.
Ingredients:
Home made dough
Sirene or Feta Cheese
Eggs
Leak or spinach
Finished product :Banitsa

Not quite vegan if it has cheese and eggs in it! However it can easily be made Vegan and I absolutely ADORE the idea!!! I'm going to make a Vegan version of this next week. Thank you so much for inspiring me and yes that is a great antique bowl. It looks fantastic!
Thank you so much. Yes, I agree it's not 100 %vegan. My son, my mom in law and I ate this, but husband made his own vegan version (no cheese and eggs)

The making of the thin sheet is the hardest part on this. But you can buy a ready made in the store. I can only do the "lumpia "or eggrolls but not this one hahaha. Glad you like it.xx
I buy dough when I need it. Making it seems like a lot of work and the grocery store (publix) has excellent products.
