How to Make Swedish Cardamom Buns

Well, on this weekend, Ema and I will share a recipe for Swedish bread that is simple enough for you to make at home, the name of this bread is Swedish Cadamo Buns. This bread uses some spices that are quite fragrant and almost similar to cinnamon rollcake. Well, the ingredients for making this Swedish bread certainly don't cost much and you can buy all the ingredients for this recipe at the nearest supermarket or market in your city. The first ingredients you have to prepare are wheat flour, palm sugar, margarine, cinnamon powder, yeast, sugar, salt, powdered milk, sesame seeds and mineral water. after you have prepared all the ingredients, now let's start the first step.

the first step, what you have to do first is prepare a place and put 250 grams of flour, 50 grams of sugar, half a tablespoon of yeast and 2 tablespoons of powdered milk. after that, stir the dry mixture until well blended.

the second step, after the dry mixture has been stirred until well blended, then add enough mineral water or you can also add 1 egg yolk. Then, knead the dough until half smooth by using your hands.

the third step, after the dough has been kneaded until half smooth, then add 1 tablespoon of margarine and half a teaspoon of salt. after that, knead the dough again until the dough is completely smooth using clean hands.

the fourth step, after the dough has been kneaded until smooth, then cover the dough with a clean cloth and let the dough rest for about half an hour depending on your room temperature.

the fifth step, while waiting for the dough to be resting, then prepare a bowl and put 100 grams of margarine, 70 grams of palm sugar, half a teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder. After that, stir until everything is well mixed.

the sixth step, after the dough has been rested for half an hour, then prepare the work mat and put the dough on the work mat. then, flatten the dough until the dough is flat like the photo above and apply the palm sugar that has been stirred previously on top of the dough that has been flattened.

seventh step, after the dough has been flattened, the next thing you have to do is sprinkle cinnamon powder evenly over the dough like the photo above. This cinnamon powder makes the bread smell really fragrant and delicious.

the eighth step, after you have sprinkled cinnamon powder on top of the dough, the next thing you have to do is fold the right and left sides of the dough to cover the filling of the arena sugar and also the wood powder like the photo above.

the ninth step, after the dough has been folded, then flatten the dough a little, then turn the dough and after that cut the dough into several parts with the size according to your wishes like the photo above.

the tenth step, after the dough has been cut into several parts, the next thing you have to do is take 1 dough and after that cut the middle of the dough horizontally and don't let the dough break. You can see the photo above so you don't get it wrong. Repeat this step until the dough is finished

the eleventh step, after all the dough has been cut in the middle horizontally, then all you have to do is twist all the dough like the photo above.

the twelfth step, after all the dough has been twisted to completion, the next thing you have to do is roll it using 3 fingers and then the end of the dough is inserted into the middle of the dough. repeat until the dough is complete.

the thirteenth step, after all the dough is finished, the next thing you have to do is arrange all the dough on a baking sheet and cover the dough with a clean cloth. Let the dough rise for about half an hour depending on your room temperature.

the fourteenth step, after the dough has doubled, the next thing you have to do is sprinkle the sesame seeds evenly in all the dough like the photo above.

the last step, all you have to do in this final step is to prepare the oven and preheat the oven for 10 minutes. after the oven is hot, then enter the baking sheet and bake the dough at a temperature of 170 or 180 degrees Celsius, with fire up and down for about 20 or 25 minutes depending on the oven you use.

and finally, you can serve swedish cadamo buns for your family or friends. This bread is really very fragrant and makes your whole house smell like this bread. the taste is really very delicious and this bread is best eaten with hot milk.
