Cookie Lasagna
INGREDIENTS
two sticks butter, softened
one c. sugar
one and quarter c. all-purpose flour
quarter c. milk
two tsp. pure vanilla extract
half tsp. kosher salt
one c. mini chocolate chips, plus more for sprinkling
one tub cool whip
two c. chocolate sauce
eighteen graham crackers
one c. chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
In a large sized dish using a hand mixer, whip butter and sugar till smooth. Put flour, vanilla and salt and beat till just mixed. Blend in mini chocolate chips.
Do again the layering process, reserving about quarter cup of cookie dough and ending with a fluffy layer of Cool Whip on top of the lasagna.
Roll remaining cookie dough into small balls and scatter on top of the of the Cool Whip. Sprinkle more mini chocolate chips on top.
Refrigerate till the graham crackers layers have softened, about four hours.
Cut into squares and serve cold.
