Asian Beef
INGREDIENTS
three tablespoons soy sauce
two tablespoons rice wine
one tablespoon brown sugar
half teaspoon cornstarch
one tablespoon vegetable oil
one tablespoon minced fresh ginger root
one tablespoon minced garlic
one pound beef round steak
eight ounces snow peas
PROCESS
In a small sized dish, stir the soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar and cornstarch. Set aside.
Heaten up oil in a pan over medium high heat. Mix-fry ginger and garlic for thirty seconds. Put the steak and mix-fry for two minutes or till evenly browned. Put the snow peas and mix-fry for an additional three minutes. Put the soy sauce mixture, bring to a boil, mixing constantly. Lower the heat and simmer till the sauce is thick and soft. Serve immediately.
