Ingredients
a) Small Fish...........................................................300gms
b) Salt(to sprinkle)..................................................1tsp
c) Turmeric Powder.................................................1tsp
d) Olive oil................................................................2tbs
e) Onion....................................................................1 large
f) Ginger (chopped).................................................1 tbs
g) Garlic (chopped).................................................1 tbs
h) Tomato paste.......................................................2 tbs
i) Carrot....................................................................1 medium
j) Cabbage...............................................................1 Cup
k) Salt.......................................................................1/2 tsp or to taste
l) Black pepper (crushed).....................................1 & 1/2 tsp or to taste
m) Water..................................................................5 cups or as required
n) Green Onion..........................................................1/4 Cup
Method
Clean and remove center bone of the fish.
Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder over fish, mix well and set aside for 30 minutes then wash with tap water.
In a pot, add olive oil, onion and fry until translucent
Add ginger, garlic and mix well.
Add tomato paste and cook for 2 minutes.
Add carrot, cabbage, salt and crushed black pepper. Mix well.
Add water, mix well and bring it to boil, cover and cook on low flame for approx 1 hour.
Add green onion, mix and serve.
