Rice with milk (Grandma's Recipe)

Rice with milk is a traditional recipe and we will prepare it in the following way. It can be eaten as a meal or dessert (hot or cold) either way is super delicious. Its preparation is fast and very simple.

Ingredients:

1 1/4 liters of Milk

100Gs Rice

125Gs Sugar

 25Gs Raisins

Orange or lemon peel pieces (by choice)

Ground cinnamon

Preparation:

1-  Put a pot on the fire, add milk, orange peel or lemon, sugar and mix.

2 - Once a boil starts adding the rice and mix well. During all the cooking we will stir with wooden spoon so that the rice does not stick.

3- When boiling, lower the heat and cook for about 40 minutes.

4- Remove from the heat and remove the peels of orange or lemon.

5-  Let stand for a few minutes. You can then serve it hot or store it in the refrigerator and consume it cold.

6 -  It can be served: 

       - Alone.

       - Adding to the serving, cinnamon powder. 

       - Or you can also add raisins.

        This is for all tastes. 


Tip to keep in mind:
You can vary the amount of milk and / or their condiments, this would be to the taste of each one, always respecting the base of the recipe.

 It really is a platazo very tasteful. If you want to look good, you can surprise your guests with this wonderful dish, since they usually consume it as food or dessert.
