There are many downsides to having low or average intelligence while suffering from mild or severe psychosis that therapists don't tell you. The truth is, those with schizophrenia and lower intelligence are way more likely to experience physical/psychological abuse, gaslighting, and hurting themselves than the other way around. Forget the famous psychological horror movies and youtube channels painting psychotic people as dangerous, they are more likely to be dangerous to themselves and put themselves in dangerous situations than the other way around. There's a difference between a psychopath, a sadistic, and a psychotic person. Psychotic people, because of delusions and hallucinations, tend to have impaired judgements which put them at higher risk of being lied to and abused than the other way around.
Because many psychotic people have personality disorders, other than the dark triad, and impaired cognition, some people with this disorder can behave troublesomely and interrupt social rules which gets them into trouble. However, once again, psychotic people are more likely to get themselves into trouble than the other way around where they slander or get others into trouble.
