From whom did you get the idea?
Steemit was born from an idea by Ned Scott and Daniel Larimer.Ned Scott CEO Ned Scott young New Yorker NeNed Scoot in 2012 graduated in psychology and economics. From 2013 to 2016 February working for a family business based on the import and export of food products. From the following period until today is occupied full-time on this new experiment.

It's based on what?
Steemit works through technology block chain that feeds an open source engine called Steem. Visitors who contribute to the development of the platform inserting posts, articles or just commenting or voting on an article written by others are rewarded in part in "Steem Power" and in dollars Steem (one coin worth about one dollar).
