See you give the worst case scenario as a closing argument:

Can you imagine an early iphone or ancient laptop trying to index through thousands of post entries and date checking every time you open a page or go to view trending? It would make it completely freeze. :P

Even the respected companies managing those operations systems and devices don't cater to such old tech. New technologies can't work across the entire device spectrum.

I also HAVE NO ISSUE with the RC system to combat abuse. The only issue I have is that clearing my notifications shouldn't cost me resources. THAT IS LUDICROUS!

A FRONTEND should handle that just the same way it handles text BEFORE I POST. See imagine if I'm writting all this here and the blockchain said ' NO YOU'VE WRITTEN TOO MUCH EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVEN'T YET POSTED IT."
