This is a custom flow I wrote for a good friend of mine... If you're reading this right now then you'll know who I'm talking about. I wrote this song reflecting on a few important events in my life and I wrote it to the vibe the beat was putting off for me... So here's the flow...
In thinking about the past I know the pain that I've felt is the same pain that'll everlast and if I let it fester it'll stay smoulderin' my senses overloadin it no point in holdin' it but I'm afraid I'm blind to its grasp that same pain that creeps up sometimes its slow other times its fast sometimes its dull and sometimes its sharp as a knife and other times it presents itself as a panic attack til I can't breath and I'm out of gas on my last gasp think I overcome it til it strikes back it always wants the last laugh aint gonna let it win and thats that I'll crush the pain when I'm at bat crackin' me up with a mad laugh. I felt it choke me up with some many regrets sometimes time its blown me up and pick up the pieces of shattered pain hold it close to my vest without no end game in sight what a sad plight for such a sad man clutchin a sad clown face in a sad hand but ya got to understand and to feel my pain its the pain of losing ya family man.

Agreed! Sometimes it is just better to let it go if you can... No point in identifying with it when overcoming it can be so much more rewarding in the long run!
