What a horrible game. Post should be titled DnD isn't good for anything -except ~ for what you stated at the end.

To put it bluntly, if the game sounds like:

GM: And Trflrg says: I ! I WILL BE -
P1: phone rings
P2: rolls some dice
P1: answers phone
P2: 14 !
P3: wasn't really paying attention

it is not a good game.
