Here I am on a social #network years after I said I'd never be on 'social' network - but things change, time moves forward and now I see a reason for creating a post, articulating words that finally have a true worth, determined by my friends, readers and other people just browsing on by.
Im excited to start this new journey- and not that I havent tried. previously I tried creating my own website+blog and decided to check out a few of the services available:
Wordpress just sucked with its millions of things to add-on, and buy and change and create...what sucked especially was the yearlong premium plan I had to buy, even though the rates shown on every ad out there is a month's payment. really #wordpress?
I tried blogger but my god, now its all about #Google #Sites (the new one and the old one both - they ask you every time).
On google, you buy hosting form a bunch of different companies like Hostgator, or GoDaddy and then you transfer over the google name with MX scripts. Their web builder sucks and if people start using this service every page is going to look like googles in the future (multi-rainbow colored text on a clean white page - its not that its bad, its just boring for me, a long time #4chan fan).
i tried #tumblr but my 12 year old niece made fun of me.
i tried #wix to build my own website, but at that point I was so ticked off with the others that I closed the page by the time I the stuff I'd dragged onto the wix site-builder had loaded...
i tried a few others over the years. none has a true purpose or vision when it comes to getting people to create.
honestly, the best one in my opinion was #squarespace - no bullshit, easily paid, $20 a month and what you see is what you get.
but then, i logged into my #Poloniex and some dude I traded with in there messaged me telling me about #Steem Dollars.
I got curious, ran a search, and here I am.
i also liked the UI/UX of the mobile app called #e-steem!
well, enough stupid ranting, time to actually come up with some good post ideas!
talk to you guys soon!
