RE: Value

in #rant2 months ago

It’s a topic that will always be controversial. Each one of us has their purpose, and we find ourselves as time goes by. It’s not about taking a romantic stance, it’s just what I think about it. This is especially true for those of us who are honest and have been clear from the start about why we decided to have a blog.

When I decided to keep blogging despite going through difficult moments and started my blog here from the very beginning, I told myself I would be sincere. There’s a lot of insincerity in reality, so it’s hard to ignore that. This is what I think; I write my thoughts. After all, humans are imperfect and different.

I start from the beautiful premise that you write to leave a message. If your vision is noble, noble readers will come. It’s true, no matter how noble, beautiful, or amazing the content is, it’s very hard to attract internal readers. This is an intrinsic aspect of the behavior of many content creators. But, but, but, how do you nurture your thoughts without reading and consuming what others do?

I don’t write in a specific niche. I’ve seen changes in myself that have personally guided me outside the ecosystem. A person’s worth is determined by what they are able to convey and leave behind. I even face the fact of not having interactions on my posts. When this happens, I wonder where I went wrong, but one way or another, someone will read me. If not this time, it will be the next. Hive works like that; it’s about trying.

I repeat, for me, the value lies in what we contribute through thought and what we can intertwine with other people. Humans are designed to create networks of collaboration. I mean that everything is built because someone contributes something. That something helps you improve your vision and go beyond what you observe or believe.

The ecosystem has changed a lot in recent years, but isn’t change also part of our nature? I still believe that we should all get used to nourishing ourselves. If you read, for example, a book, you gain something invaluable from it. The same happens when you acquire the thoughts of others. Furthermore, what’s the point or function of it if it doesn’t contribute and reshape your own ideas?

As for value, if the message is there and if the person truly wants to leave a mark on others, at some point, it will be understood, and their moment of glory will come. All that remains is to work and stay focused on the path. Focus is the most important thing.

It was an entertaining read.
