Ah, another year, another award ceremony where the elite gather around each other and pat themselves on the back for all the hard work they have to go through to earn an inordinate amount of money.
But wait, what's this? Celebs are wearing black in solidarity against gender inequality and women being sexually harassed in the workplace. Well I never, aren't they just modern day suffragettes, so brave and good of them to take on the tribulations on women everywhere and to put their feet down to say that they will accept it no longer.
I for one feel a lot more safe and emboldened by it...
Here we see Natalie Portman scathingly announcing the nominations for best director as she says "and here are all the male nominations" What a woman.
But lets not mention the fact that she was one of the many who signed a petition for paedophile rapist Roman Polanski to be released from jail. Yeah best if we ignore that right.
And what a moving speech that we heard from Oprah. POTUS 2020 amirite? ... or maybe not. You know, seeing as she's best buddies with Harvey Weinstein. Known for sexually assaulting, well pretty much every woman he can.
The hypocrisy that runs through Hollywood is so large it's mind numbing. How a person earning $125 million a year can stand up and play a victim on behalf of all women is completely nonsensical. I'll never understand it.
Honestly thinking about it is exhausting. But the basic gist of it is that Hollywood is full of vapid, self seeking hypocritical leeches and its infuriating.
Stay safe out there and watch out for that societal misogyny that makes it near impossible to just live as a woman.... right.
