Hello Everyone,
My name is Raja from UAE, yesterday one of my old friend contacted me and told about Steemit, after doing some basic research I was interested and decided to dedicate some of my time to work on Steemit. I am trying to get started and I have some simple questions as below. It would be great this community can help me get started around.
1. How much time should I have to dedicate to this in a day or week?
2. How does Steemit make money?

You can dedicate as much time as you like to STEEMIT. I would suggest that you consistently come on everyday and either produce content or even better when you are just starting out Comment on other peoples Postings so they can get to know you. STEEMIT makes money by people producing content and by steem being mined. I would tell you one of the people you may want to Follow right away would be @jerrybanfield.

Why? I believe everyone here for the same reason. Please correct me if I am wrong.
It's just another social platform the more you spend time on it the more you'll make and I'm sure you'll make more money if you spend the same amount of time in the physical world but I guess still better than Facebook
Well brother i am also looking for te 2nd question answer but the answer of the first one is simple. You should use it like your facebook or twitter accounts like commenting on peoples post which you like or not and like their posts and make followers because the more you have followers the more upvotes you are gonna have. Just like instagram. Hope it will help
