I am ABSOLUTELY a "Newbie" to this whole Blog thing.......... WOW I just realized how old that makes me sound....LOL !
I am an all around "Handyman" who works in the Maintenance field.
I brew my own Beer and may be posting some videos on how I do it. (my name should give a clue on how I go about it.)
I am all for any constructive criticism that may fly my way.
And NOW for what I really want to get to!
Well, What I am going to try to do is start up a meat rabbit farm to sell to restaurants.
This will take you all on the ride with me in case anyone wishes to do this also. Yaaaaaaa
I have found out that getting info on this subject is kinda difficult because even tho Rabbit meat is classified as the best meat to consume, by the FDA, there is little in the way of knowledge on how to do this.
So far I have checked with the TN dept of agriculture and found out that in this state I need to contact the FDA.
So I got in touch with a very helpful person that is going to get me the information I need to be able to butcher and sell my rabbits to the restaurants. ( That IS if I can get them interested in rabbit meat for the menu.)
When asked how long this should take I was given the answer of about 4 weeks or less. :(
That is where this ride starts and you are all welcome to join in.
I currently have a breeding trio of two does and a buck. and 2 sets of babies.
Hopefully this will be a good start.
I will update when I know something new.

P.S. I will be adding pictures and video when I can figger this stuff out a little better :p
