In 1878 Congress passed the Bland-Allison Act. This Act obliged the US government to buy large quantities of silver and turn them into silver dollars. Known by the name of its designer, the US Mint Assistant Engraver George T Morgan, the Morgan Dollar is one of the most popular of American currencies. Its large size, abundant quantity and pleasant appearance make it desirable and relatively inexpensive

Filipinos love salted eggs. Recently, salted egg has been hyped all over the world as a new flavor to breads, chips, salads, etc. In the Philippines, salted egg has been a thing since I can remember. I was a little girl when I would see this as a staple in our markets and flea markets. It would catch my sight because these eggs are colored bright pink, deep red or purple
