Forgotten

OMG! Pollution is worst than I thought! Look at this poor rose, it looks so fake! On top of that it lost her thorns! Her glorious days are over, she's just a polyester thing now! Her delicate sweet scent disappeared long time ago and bees fly away scared. She blames GMO, fertilizers, chemicals, plastic, humans... she even blame the dogs pooping everything in their path at the park!

Fungi Friday- Gardens Are For Everyone!

I was walking around the garden minding my own business (looking for some pretty flowers to shoot) when I looked down and I saw those

Spectacular!Look at the way @ewkaw has captured the sun's rays as they dance upon this fungi!

Mushrooms were the last thing I was hoping to see! It is a little bit warm recently, and we never had them growing there. But I guess the overgrown fruits trees and one pine tree created a nice place and they decided to move in

Ulog 92: Everywhere I Look... More Homesteading Projects Are Demanding My Attention

To say the last couple of months have been out of the norm for me and my homestead is an understatement. Between my recovery from the auto collision to my husband's heart attack and surgery to getting things changed over from winter to summer gardening and my son's wedding coming up this weekend, life on the Golden D Homestead has been a whirlwind of activity and fluttering of interruptions

WHEW! You get tired just looking at all of them.There seems to be so much to do keeping up a homestead... and look at all the projects awaiting @goldendawne!

The Micro Orange Invasion...

Last summer we had a weird infestation of these tiny fellas in the south of Portugal.
They are normally always present but never in these proportions.
They were literally everywhere, on every flower, every leaf and even climbing on our legs

Do you get itchy just seeing bugs even if they're not on your skin? @brumest shows some beautiful flowers being invaded by itty-bitty red insects!

A true horror movie for those who can't stand bugs

What “Drama” Sunsets Are Made Of...

Sun rays, sun beams, star bursts and clouds that assist in dressing up the scene!
That's what you need for 'drama' sunsets or sunrises...
And when the elements are all in play... standby for nature's showtime!

If you listen, it's almost as if you can hear the sunset booming and talking! @ackhoo did a fabulous job showing this view as the sun starts to set for another day.

Bigger better monthly subs!

We know not everyone can delegate or upvote for larger upvotes. Thus sending in steem allowed for a larger upvote for the month.

It used to be only two levels.

SUB1 = 0.8 Steem for an upvote from 750 SP
SUB2 = 1.6 Steem for an upvote from 1500 SP

We decided to add three more levels to this, with level 5 adding a little bonus in there!

SUB3 = 2.4 Steem for an upvote from 2250 SP
SUB4 = 3.2 Steem for an upvote from 3000 SP
SUB5 = 4 Steem for an upvote from 4000 SP (250SP Bonus!)

So how does that work?

Let's say you send 3.2 Steem with the memo sub JUNE then you will get an upvote from @qurator similar to a 3000 SP account.

Steemauto Curation Trail

We suggest not following the trail with 100%, steemauto has 2 ways of following a trail, static or scaled. We suggest using SCALED instead of static since static votes can add up quickly and drain VP very fast. We suggest using scaled and then maybe around 25%.

Steemauto can show us who is currently on the trail and at what percentage. Looking forward to see more Qurites joining the trail in the near future! We also reward the team players and there might be a nice surprise for a lucky trailer. =P
