I never thought that the meet-up would be so welcoming most especially to the newbies. The organizers were just awesome in handling the event. They did an amazing job in making everyone feel that they belong to the Steemit Cebu community

My Journey Of Knowing Myself
The second half of 2017 is a rather hectic 6 months for me, everything seems to be kicked into high gear, where project meets projects and deadline crashes with another deadline... I'm getting frustrated, and my temper boiled over some irrelevant small matter
But @jun04035 took some advice from her father and went to a retreat; a place where she could learn about letting go of personal burdens and meditation. She learned to slow down and to step back and look at the bigger picture and how to focus.

New Follower Ranking Feature Has Been Integrated In My Steemit Friends And Made Open Source
My Steemit Friends has been upgraded with a new feature. It is called "Follower Ranking"... After entering your Steemit User Name and Clicking the green button, you will see your followers' ranking
You can not only check your ranking, but also your ranking in Upvotes, articles and comments and so much more! This could be a great tool to have bookmarked.

There are going to be many ups and downs in this life, which is a fact that everyone knows. The real question is who strong enough be humble during the good times and strong during the bad.
@waphilip wants to be there for an old friend and his mom offers up some advice on how to handle a tragedy.
I was so focused on what I was going to do, that completely lost sight of the most important fact. My friend was in trouble and he needed some support... My mom questioned my morality after choosing to just send him a text and going along with my day, but my intuition was telling me to just give him and his family some space to just breath

Steemvoter Down
Steemvoter is moving their service to new servers and they will be down for about a week. For all the Qurites who use steemvoter to gain access to Tier 1 and Tier 2 please consider some manual upvoting. Maybe just to be safe, swing by on Sunday and get all your upvotes out before the Tier Post. =)
Tier Changes
This will be the last week where Qurator will accept direct steem deposits for Tier upgrades. For those who would like to upgrade their tiers we suggest you do so this week. After this week Tier 3-5 will only be accessible via Delegation or Competitions. Check the rates below!
Note: Members who paid Steem for Tier upgrades will be fine, their Tiers will stay active the 40 days they paid for. After that they will get notified with a wallet message.

You may have noticed that your upvotes from @qurator packed a little bigger punch! @scrooger and @ethandsmith are now trailing the @qurator account and will be sending you some extra upvotes from our side as well. It's not much but every upvote counts!
You can also follow the trail and send upvotes to fellow Qurator members when @qurator upvotes them. To set up a Streemian account only takes a few minutes and is a great way to earn some extra curation.
We suggest NOT following the trail at 100% since we do not want to drain too much of your precious voting power. Play around with your percentage and if you see your voting power being drained too much you can simply lower your % in Streemian. If you have a lot of voting power to spare you can consider a larger %.

Indeed it is. Quite curious to see the upvote tiers next week. Will mean all those who manually upvoted will see a huge increase in voting weight while those who just rely on steemvoter will get dropped to a lower tier.
