Welcome to another Toss up Thursday where you give us your post, the members pick the winners and we hand out those sweet tiers! Are you ready? Comment away!

Welcome to the 22nd Toss Up Thursday Edition - brought to you by the Qurator Project. We have Photo Friday and Tasty Tuesday, but what about all the other content that Qurites produce? We want you all to get more recognition for all your hard work. Thus, we are introducing Toss Up Thursday. This is a free-for-all, anything-goes kind of competition, with a few Qurator twists of course!

Toss Up Thursday will be held the first and third Thursdays of the month only. This is your chance as a Qurite to nominate any post that you feel is quality writing and needs some Qurite love!

Come promote anything and everything!

We can ask all members to “toss up” another member's recent post. The rules can be a bit tricky so read them carefully! The short of it all is, showing support and upvoting other Qurites' comments in this post will give them a better chance of winning!

The rules

  • 2 winners every Toss Up Thursday.

  • Nominators have to post a link and a picture of your post(or the person you nominated). (ONLY 1 ENTRY PER QURITE)

  • The comment with the HIGHEST number of upvotes will win (not value)!

  • ONLY UPVOTES FROM QURATOR MEMBERS WILL COUNT.

How do we pick a winner?

The two comments with the MOST Qurite UPVOTES when this post reaches payout will win a 2700 SP upvote for 30 days from @qurator.

So how do you win?

Copy and paste a link and picture link from one of your recent posts. Then hope you get a lot of upvotes on that comment. Please remember only the upvotes from Qurator members will count.

Comment template that you can copy and paste in the comment section to make it easier for yourself:

Let the Toss Up begin and may the best Qurites win! Comment and upvote away!

Like what we do? Consider voting for us as a steemit witness.

Sort:

Voting with low power is like punching with a soft cushion wrapped around your fist. Ineffective.
Rock 'em. Sock 'em!

lol - you are the man!

Could you please take our friend @crypto.piotr out for drinks and knock some sense into him for me?

He is awesome, but my two problems are:

  • one post every 10-14 days (ffs)
  • voting at less than 30% power (omg)

I am counting on you, @majes.tytyty. He is one of the good guys we need to have here.

Heh heh. Actually, I met him for dinner in December (if I recall, we had no drinks that eve), and, I have to say, I found him quite sensible.

That said, we did differ on certain goals and strategies re our Steemit blogs. One thing he did say is that he was quite content to post irregularly and rarely.

He is clearly an ambitious and principled man. So, I can't really understand why he is not more ambitious with regard to posting regularly.

He and I plan to meet up again sometime soon, so, on your advice, I'll make sure we each down a few beers! Maybe more than a few, to foster some real productivity. ☺
Cheers!!

Dear @fitinfun, @majes.tytyty

What can I say? I know you're right about managing voting power better. But if you would know that you have several days to work while your partner is away and then you know that you will have a week off from Steemit then wouldn't you do the same?

one post every 10-14 days (ffs)

Lol. Try to get married, pack your entire life, move out from country, work on start-up, have your wife being hospitalized and be regular on Steemit within same timeframe :P hehehehe :)

I believe that one post every 10-14 days is enough. It takes always several hours to reply to all comments and I cannot invest more time to be more active. 3-4 posts a month is just perfect :) Plus please remember: steemit is not like instagram. I've seen many people trying to post more often (sometimes even every day). And so that doesnt seem to work well for anyone I know.

ps.
@majes.tytyty when will I see you again? :) How was your trip?

Yours
Piotr

Yes, we realize you're busy. But, hope you're not too busy to meet up sometime.

How's next week? If you have some free time some evening, let's meet up for dinner. And maybe have a beer or 2.

Dear @majes.tytyty

Yes, we realize you're busy. But, hope you're not too busy to meet up sometime.

Perhaps you do not remember our arrangement, but I suggested that you will contact me once you will be back and suggest some day and time (at least 1 day in advance) and we will meet again :)

Im waiting.... :D

What about tuesday or thursday? LEt's say 7pm? We could meet in same place.

Cheers
Piotr

Yikes, I've never done this before so let me know if I mess it up at all. Here is my submission:

I am generally a mobile photographer But recently I have bought A DSLR camera to capture better photos. I am starting a travel series not only with photos but with the stories behind them. I am sure you will like it.

Hi there,
the person I would like to nominate is no Qurator member so I'll nominate my own post mainly to get some attention for the project @pifc.

Here we go:

My entry for the Pay-it-Forward Curation Contest - Week 39

This post tells us why it is important to smile always. You never know when who you might change with your smiles.
