Keeping it real has never been more important!
Distractions are everywhere, attention is limited, people are prioritizing things like never before. Materialism is at an all time high, the quest to have the biggest, newest, flashiest things is a race for the ages. There is literally nothing people won’t do to appear more than they are as well. When the goal of being who we aren’t and obtaining things we don’t need meshes together, it causes a fake existence that so many seem to yearn for.
These are the days where keeping it real and not succumbing to all the bullshit getting pushed on us may be tough, but if you get sucked in, it’s difficult to escape. Being fake on the other hand is relatively easy, you let others do any and all thinking for you, lose your sense of self and become another cog in the system that doesn’t have your best interests at heart.
So what to do then? It’s a simple answer really, just be yourself, you know, that person within that has unique interests and passions. The one who loves to do things with friends and family, the person you try to hide from others while you pretend to be something you’re not. That is all there is to it. Be genuine, be real and most of all just be at peace, no need to chase the latest fad and be what you’re not to appease others. Just do you!

it is indeed hard to be ourselves when nowadays the media penetration is so strong. I am not certain sometime that I am making my decision based on my perception or it maybe not. Ultimately, I think twice on the big decision and analyze whether it has any impact.
Good strategy to always think over the big decisions, best to approach things and do them right from the start and not having to backtrack.
True, that will be the ideal situation 😎it is about risk control too. Usually big decision, we are more incline to safer decision.
