Hey there Hivians,
Thanks @dreamm for challenging me to increase the value of these daily quote posts.
I started doing these because I already send a different quote to my management team each day. I figured doing the same thing here would be a good way to start developing a habit of engaging daily with the Hive community.
Each quote that I pick daily is based on some challenge or feeling that I am dealing with. Going forward, I think it would be more valuable to the community to touch on the reasoning for each quote that I am posting so that others might be able to relate.
So here is todays quote. It is focused on strength. In this instance, I am referencing mental strength and not physical. The reason I chose this is because I had to drop one of my dogs off for surgery this morning. He has a growth being removed that the vet thinks may be cancerous. Although I know logically that my wife and I would move on with our lives if we lost him, it is still hard not feeling fear and sadness at the thought of losing him. This is why I chose todays quote, because regardless of any sadness or fear I might have, I have to understand that there is nothing that I can do about it at this point. All I can do is to decide to be strong and go about my day.
