You know the movie The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
So you might have seen The Vision in it too.
Watching this movie, I really liked one quote that he said towards the end of the movie. He was talking to the last robot surviving, discussing about human on earth and how there is grace in their failings. Then he said something that goes like this:
'..A thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. Its a privilege to be among them..'
Like.Whoa.
I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking, but it really puts things into perspective if you ask me. I mean, that's kind of true isn't it? Things won't be beautiful if it lasts forever and ever. Because if it does last forever, we'll definitely take it for granted or under-appreciate it. It takes a temporary thing for us to really cherish what we is still there or what we still have. And when it's gone, we'll reminisce on how good it was and be sure to appreciate and value even more what comes after.
For example, I LOVEEEEEE flowers. They're sooo beautiful and they have a nice scent! However, they don't last forever. It withers away. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy their beauty before it does. As a matter of fact, I'd like to cherish it while it is still fresh and vibrant by putting them in places inside my home for people to see :)
So, with all these said, everything is temporary, the beauty, and the not-so-nice things in the world. Though they are temporary, whether we like it or not, we know we can always come to our Creator who is permanent.:)
Well said :) Beautiful things don't last forever, gotta cherish it while we still can :)
is there a pun somewhere here? ;)
