x + x + x = 30 So x = 10
10 + Y + Y = 18 So Y = 4
4 - Z = 2 So Z = 2
0,5 z + x * 0,5y = 21

If you say 21 is correct then the image math is incorrect.
Horse is 10
10 + 10 +10 = 30
Yellow is 4
10 + 4 + 4 = 18
Silver is 2
4 - 2 = 2
2 + 10 × 4 = 42
Because in the rule of mathematics in (bodmas). Multiplication before addition.
just check the no of shoes and yellow mark asked in the contest, you will automatically get your answer.

Clever quiz. It seems that it's easy to miscount the horse shoe and the boots. The second and third calculations uses pairs of horse shoes and boots and the final one use just one of both
