I never seen this kind of article written by anyone which is 100% genuine. The reason you mention also written by your experience.

This is fact that everyone want to earn easily with their MEMEs.Only few people are working on quality in this community.

Only few people have dare to right unique content even they don't know they earn less but they use it in write way.

Few people write an article in 4 Hours and Get only few dollar as reward and little appreciation and few votes.

Other just post one photo and get more than $20 as reward.

so why people waste their time to instead they upload it in 1 min. is easy job.

Few things are goes wrong with steemit but we still have to work hard and provide something meaningful to this community.
