RE: Quick Tip: Voting Power And How To Check It

in #quicktip7 years ago

Oh dear God. That's like walking into a room with a big red button labelled 'DO NOT PRESS'! I must admit, I have been doing both, it seemed only polite to upvote a post/comment that I'm impressed with. Time to sellotape my fingers to my desk I guess. 😆 Thanks again sweetie, an absolute pleasure, as always. 😙

haha I get it... awesome analogy (you can write a little story for your blog about that one) ;)

Also I will give you 2 other tips to help someone you really like and they are powerful things...

  1. tag the post by typing in @originalworks (if it is original) That is a small sign of respect and earns actually more than your upvote
  2. send it to @resteemable by going into the URL and taking out the https:// and replacing it with re ... that will send it to resteemable and they will send out a free resteem to their much larger viewer base. (note: if you do it right you will get a screen that comes up that asks if you want to donate. But they don't expect us small fish to donate, in fact they are doing this to exactly help us. So when that screen comes up, you did it right, and then just hit the back button on your browser)

It will help with the big red button withdrawals ;)

Oh cool. @originalartworks. That's brilliant. It will definitely help with the withdrawals......beer helps too, but this is betterer. 😁

lol its @originalworks (no art)... but it still is the same concept... and yes, I love beer to kill the red button blues ;)

I've been doing the same. I upvote comments I like just so that they can see that someone liked it. It's just so impersonal leaving them hanging not knowing if their comment was even read. :(

I know what you mean. But I guess it encourages us to respond and write something instead of simply upvoting.
