Do you really see others and hear others?

Do you have your eyes open to really see others around you or do you walk around not seeing and hearing anyone around you?

When you open your eyes, your heart and walk around that way through your day you will notice something amazing! The hell are you talking about Snekky? I can hear you think out loud now! I read minds! Good little snek I am! ((Laughs)) Anyways, let's not get sidetracked here!


A compliment about your hair! A friendly gesture from a family member. A little pat on your shoulder as a friendly reminder that your neighbor likes you. The person driving the car stops just for you so you can pass quickly so you can get out of the rain faster while he did not have to do that at all. The old lady in the store flashing you a smile just because she can. A basket of flowers from a friend just because their garden is full of them.


Small little gestures that happened to me the last few weeks and there were many more I did not even mention. When you focus on these things you will see how often it happens and in return, it makes you nicer and you will start doing the same. All you have to learn for this is to be able to see them, to open yourself up to hear the words and appreciate the gestures. It will not turn your life around 180 degrees but you will find more happiness in your days! Open your eyes and ears!
