Can You Solve It? Dice Challenge #13 + 1 STEEM Dollar (SBD) Prize!

in #puzzle7 years ago

Hello again,

Welcome to Dice Challenge #13! The number thirteen brings bad luck they say. Well, not today! Because with this Dice Challenge you can win another STEEM Dollar (SBD) for your wallet ;-)

It's the same recipe as always: Figure out the color of the missing dice and number of eyes on each missing dice. I will transfer the prize to the first person that finds the correct answer to the puzzle. To be eligible for the prize your answer should include:

  • The color of each of the missing dice combined with the number of eyes on those dice.
  • A clear explanation on how you got to your answer (the logic behind your solution)

To make it more clear what I mean, your answer could look something like this:

Example:

Solution: Purple 2 | Green 3 | Yellow 6 | Black 1
Logic behind the solution: The dice of each color should add up to 12 (based on the complete sets). So:

Purple: 2 + 4 + 4 + ? = 12
Green: 1 + 6 + ? + 2 = 12
Yellow: 3 + ? + 6 = 12
Black: ? + 2 + 6 + 3 = 12
Pink: 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12
Blue: 1 + 5 + 6 = 12
White: 4 + 1 + 4 + 3 = 12

Not too difficult right? Ready? Get those brains going! :-P

Sort:

White 3
Blue 5
White 4

Each horizontal row contains one each of white, blue and black. Each row, both horizontal and vertical, adds up to 12.

Wow, that was fast! 4 Minutes after posting. It is actually not the solution I had in mind, but that's my bad. I should have included an extra instruction: You cannot use the same color + number of eyes combination twice. Now you solution is also correct :-)

Congratulations @stevespring! I will transfer the prize to you :-)

Thank you, what was your solution?

Blue 3 | White 4 | White 5
Each row and column adds up to 12 and no double combinations ;-)

This is a cool concept, love the idea, :)
