My name Yepggsit Gil, born 46 years ago in a city that says "little piece of heaven" called Puerto Cabello, was rumored in its time for its calm sea waters that could be moored with a strand of hair. It was also commented on Mr. Andrés Cabello, adventurous man and smuggler, that over time took his name this small town.
My little piece of heaven, has the main seaport, where cocoa, tobacco, cotton and indigo came out of its peak. Its important streets full of history, landscapes and areas that are worth visiting and knowing, Calle los Lanceros, its valuable San Felipe Castle, the famous bridge of the Spaniards and its great Fortín Solano, among others; where the differences were made feats that when being heard are worth coming and visiting ...
Without forgetting that we have wonderful beaches and the popular Isla Larga visited by many, it also has history and you can go diving in the sunken ship.

We have our beautiful hymn lyrics and music of Mr. Italo Pizzolante "PUERTO CABELLO".
It should be noted that the most important thing in each of the corners of my city is its PEOPLE, their treatment, their kindness and the best that the human warmth that there is in this small place where you can make the best of each one.
From these small lines I feel that I am proud of being porteña and above all VENEZUELAN.
