O Bitcoin caiu e se mantém abaixo dos 8000 devido a uma série de notícias negativas que não param de chegar ao mundo das criptos.
Um banco do Reino Unido proibiu a compra de mopedas digitais via seus cartões de crédito.
"Nós do Lloyds Bank, Bank of Scotland, Halifax e MBNA não aceitamos transações com nossos cartões de crédito envolvendo a compra de criptomoedas. É uma forma de proteger nossos clientes de cartões de crédito dos riscos associados à volatilidade dos preços delas.", disse um porta-voz do Lloyds Banking.
A mudança vem depois de vários emissores de bancos e cartões, incluindo o Bank of America Corp. também terem dito que estariam revisando suas políticas em torno da compra de ativos criptográficos usando cartões de crédito. A Capital One Financial Corp. proibiu os clientes de usar cartões de crédito para comprar Bitcoin ou Ethereum.
Afora as notícias negativas vinda dos bancos, também teve na semana passada a notícia que o Facebook não permitirá mais os anúncios de criptomoedas, e o ministro das Finanças da Índia disse que as criptomoedas não são vistas pelos órgãos do governo como uma forma de moeda legítima. E os receios sobre vindouras regulamentações rigorosas em todo o mundo também pressionam os preços para baixo.
Então com tantas notícias ruins vindo à tona ao mesmo tempo, e sem nenhuma grande notícia positiva à altura pra contrabalancear o pessimismo, não é de se surpreender esse "crash" no mercado das moedas digitais em 2018. Resta saber se haverá fôlego para uma recuperação ao longo do tempo, ou se esse ano não irá deixar saudades para os investidores.

@discernente, acredito que essas notícias já deveriam ser esperadas, afinal, o BoS é um puta banco que tá emparelhado com os governos do Reino Unido. Sobre o Facebook, não entendo por que a galera tá achando que isso é algo ruim pois é o primeiro passo para o Mark incluir o LTC na plataforma, pois ele precisa que todos acreditem que a moeda é idônea, e passar esta ideia com um monte de publicação de pirâmides e fraudes, não é muito boa.
Realmente o mercado sempre tende a se antecipar às notícias negativas que já se esperava, mas mesmo assim quando elas se confirmam sempre tende a cair mais.
