BE IMPULSIVE

in #psychology7 years ago (edited)

In these digital times, where the social media have put too many hands on the few free hours in our daily lives, spontaneity has gone down and become inadequate. Yes, we have almost forgotten how to do something impulsively!

If you want to develop, do something new! Drive a different way home from work than you usually do. Go for a walk through your garden - backwards. Or, change the annual summer vacation destination with a new one where you have never been (for maybe next year to return to the tribunal again).

We humans are the highest rank of animals. Habits make everyday life hang out. Habits are rituals and peace of mind. But habits - if sometimes not broken or challenged - can also go and become killing dull. And in these digital times, where the social media have put too many hands on the few free hours in our daily lives, spontaneity has gone down and become inadequate. Yes, we have almost forgotten how to do something impulsively! Everything is planned, measured and weighed down to the slightest detail - while complaining about missing time and dreaming of a day just packing the southern fruits and drawing against unknown horizons. The last is only the fewest amenity, but less can happily do it too!

Impulsive people are generally happy people

Last but not least, the impulsive folks are the most happy. This is because they act on what they want and make decisions based on how they feel. Impulsive people are in touch with their emotions, wants and needs; they shut out the voice telling them that things are supposed to be done a certain way. Because of this, they are content with their decisions and with their life and happiness exudes from them.

I consider myself an impulsive person. And that's true: I'm in a state of harmony, every day I rejoice in anything. Thank's for sharing! ;)

I hate habits, but Im stuck in my own habits. Comfortable and safe. My drive to work daily doesn't change. Mindless driving. :)

Following my impulses led to a full time art career!

Yeah, that's true!:)
