I can't agree more! Total demystification of envy it is!

I believe that it is this loss (of positive self-concept) that leads some people to act upon their envy in a negative manner

I agree with every line of this article. I believe envy when harboured positively leads one to achieve greater goals. This has been demonstrated in my life, and I was quite conscious of it. However, the problem results when, instead of attaching Positivity to it, the person chose the other way round. That's when it becomes toxic.

I am impressed! :) I am glad you got the message this post tries to convey, which is that of informing people about the neuropsychological and social roots of envy. Whether they will follow a ignoble or immoral path depends on the person's character. Thank you for supporting this claim with your personal experience that envy may as well work as a motivator! :)
