We are all victims of social pressure and I explain why. Whether at work, at home, at school or even within a couple, there are expectations to fulfill. At work we are asked to be punctual, fast, to tolerate working under pressure. At home, you have to cook good health food, that our environment is perfectly clean, that everything is well organized and tidy. At school, we are asked to have a good result, to surpass the average, to get involved, to participate and to meet the requirements of the ministry. In a couple, you have to be beautiful, loving, energetic, funny, sexy, intelligent and so many other qualities.
Society expects us to be PERFECT in all spheres of our lives. Unconsciously, it becomes more and more heavy day after day. We feel that we have failed, even though we have accomplished many things. As soon as a sphere isn't perfect we feels incomplete. What's sad is that the beauty of things is being yourself and doing what you love.
Today with what Instagram, Pinterest, magazines and television shows us, it's perfectly normal to feel overwhelmed, because what is shown isn't reality. We must face the facts that we are human, not robots. We are crushed by this pressure and we wonder why depression is the disease of the century.
The beauty of things is to respect our limits and to be proud of what we accomplish.

Society expects us to be PERFECT in all spheres of our lives while at the same time society isn't perfect and can never be in my opinion!
I agree! That's it. That's sad because too many people feel depress because of all the pressure society put on their shoulders...
