Though I am not really going to be dealing with the phobia but will do something in relation to that "Left-handedness".

Before this time you must have been wondering what really makes some persons to be writing and to master the left hand like those who do with the right hand. It is because their upbringing was with the left and their parents didn't bother about what their kids did with their hands (that is what we thought it was). But we didn't seem to go deep to know the real truth about this, I think you will be intrigued to read along so that we can reason together(science)👍.

THE SCIENCE OF LEFT-HANDEDNESS

Science has it that 10-12% of the population are left handed, this means that the remaining 90-88% are right handed and that this guys are somewhat rare. You happen to come across this persons, you are LUCKY(Kudos).

A professor at the university of Taxas-Austin has cemented the fact that handedness is determined very early during the fetal development of a kid along with several other threats as well.

How can this identity affect them...

• COULD IT BE GENETICS;
  
  

Scientist seem unsure to what may actually cause this but know that genes may be responsible to this(25% of the time). Yeo says that left handedness does tend to run in families but it is very less noticeable unlike inherited traits such as height, intelligence etc,.
Also, even identical twins who share same genes can most times different in their dominant hands; so it is really unsure whether genetics could be responsible for this uniqueness.

• COULD IT BE PREGNANCY STRESS;

A 2008 British (Sweden) study of moms and their 5-year-old children revealed that women who were depressed and stressed during their pregnancy period were more likely to have left handed kids or ambidexter(s).
Another study reveals that the fetuses of the very stressed pregnant women are likely to touch their faces with the left hand more often than the right. I believe a more cemented fact on left-handedness.

• DOES IT CAUSE THEM THINK DIFFERENTLY;

"My right hand man"! This statement is usually made when there's trust amongst two persons which explains that our society partner the good things to the right and the left side of something to the bad. But if you're left-handed, you might not think the same way as the right handed people do(2009 Stanford University study).
On consciousness, a righteous left-handed person thinks that good stuffs are on the left and the bad stuffs on the right, this still makes it seem that these left-handed people think differently.

• HOW ABOUT THEIR SCHOOLING;

In concordance with a research in 2009 by Australian researchers, they did this by using children of 11 years and younger and found out that left-handed kids performed worse than right-handers.

They used several measures including vocabulary, reading, writing, social development etc. Can you guess what the result was? Mixed-handed kids performed the worst when compared with left-handers. So its more likely they use the two halves of their brains in an unusual way.

In the last point, I wouldn't agree completely with Yeo that mixed-handed and left-handed children are dummies, because, they were, are and will still be great left-handers.

She hosted an International popular talk show(1986-2011), she's also a producer, a philanthropist and an actress.
