I love to plan, it makes life easy.
I went to bed on a Friday night with plans for the next day but guess what? I woke up to a flood, like the one in the Bible.
It was raining cat and dog, it's no big deal right. You can drive or call cab to where you want to go to. Hold that thought fellas, first of I do not own a car( it is still being constructed) so I am left with only one option, taxi!! But that wasn't part of the plan, I had planned my day and now forces greater than me were trying to mess with me, they should have been warned though because I am Wonder Woman 2.0 there's no stopping me.
At first my heart sank, I was disappointed; I even contemplated not going but I didn't give in. I went out and kicked ass figuratively.
Why the story right?
Things happen, no, life happens. Things will not always go as planned. I have been on earth long enough (I think) to know that disappointments are inevitable and no matter what the source is, it hurts.
Since it is inevitable, why then do we keep letting ourselves get hurt?
There's no simple answer to that question but here are my theories:
Hope, hope for a better outcome and as foolish as it my sound to many, hope is what keeps a man going and one day if the odds are in his favor, he will get that which he desires.
Strength, humans are relentless. They say you never know how strong you are unti being strong is your only choice. So no matter how many times things do not go as planned we keep on going, strongly, believing that one day they will.
