The following article is a Serfdom & Sorcery review of help commands and other updates while the game is currently in Phase A. Phase A allows developers to adjust and develop coding to enhance the game with minor update-communications to the players.

The @PsyberX and @masterrpgbot community brings Serfdom & Sorcery to the realm of Hive and the convenience of Discord. Can't grind at your desktop computer? No problem! You can play this text-based game on your phone. The game is constantly changing to bring balance and convenience to its players.

Game Basics & Overview

Players are welcome to join the Psyber X discord and register for the Serfdom & Sorcery text-based game.
Register and select one of the following classes for play: Nature, Combat, Pillage.
Play, interact, and purchase in-game items available anytime.

Registration

The @the01crow has very generously pinned simple instructions in the register here section of the S&S discord. I have taken the liberty of updating some of his work, though I did not have the time to cover EVERYTHING, unfortunately.

Users should perform the following to register:

You activate the bot with the command !register.
The bot will answer you, asking you what your username is; you must not put the @ symbol before your name
You answer.
The bot asks you what class you want to be in, Nature, pillager, combat.
You answer with one of them; you type Nature, Combat, or Pillager.

Path to the Throne

While the amount of activities in the game continues to grow, any player's ultimate goal is to ascend to the royal throne as King or Queen of the Serfdom lands. The table below lists the current ranks in the game. Who will be the first ruler of these lands?

Registration

Registration	None	!register	!register <hive_account> - Registers your account. The "register-bot" issues three different messages the user needs to follow.

Banking

Category	Cost	Command	Description
Banking	5%	!withdraw	Withdraw tokens to your Hive account. Each withdrawal incurs a 5% fee. Withdrawals are limited to the number of tokens staked.
	None	!deposit	Deposit tokens from Hive-Engine. Follow the instructions from the automated prompts to deposit your coin safely.

General Activities

Category	Cost	Command	Description
General	Time	!help	!help produces a list of commands that are likely not updated.
	None	!hunt	20-min CD. Allows the user to hunt for prey. Caution: Sometimes, the prey hunts you!
	None	!fish	60-min CD. Allows the user to fish. Note: You might catch a whale and earn 1000 DBLN if you fish enough!
	None	!scoutahead	30-min CD. Allows the user to scout ahead for any valuables. Caution: You may be caught or attacked by something else.

Statistics

	None	!leaderboard	Checks the leaderboard. See the top players in the game based on their rank, token amount, and other stats.

Purchases	Varies	!buy_potion	!buy_potion SIZE (small, medium, large, huge, gargantuan, or revive) - Cost: S: 125, M: 350, L: 800, H: 1600, G: 5000, revive 1000
	10,000	!buyhovel	!buyhovel - Hovel gives you 20 HP every 4 hours and protects you from stealing four times in a 12hr window
	900,000	!addlabtohovel	There is no current value in purchasing this item. You'll get a share of 25% of all potion sales within 24 hours.
	100,000	!buyanvil	There is no current value in purchasing this item. You'll get a share of the pickaxe sales that occur within 24 hours. I've only seen two payments since purchasing this perk over 1-month ago. Collect "funds" by using the !smith command.
	250,000	!buypasture	Allows the user to collect a portion of funds generated by milking cows that get divided by all holders of a pasture. Collect funds by using the !cultivate command.
	1,000	!buyforge	!buyforge allows the user to purchase a forge that allows them to create a pickaxe, dagger, or scythe.
	Varies	!upgradeforge	Allows the user to upgrade their forge. The upgrade allows the user to produce higher-quality pickaxes, hammers, daggers, or scythes.
	Varies	!forgepickaxe	Allows the user to forge a pick axe whose quality is dependent upon the level of your forge.
	Varies	!forgedagger	Allows the user to forge a dagger whose quality is dependent upon the level of your forge.
	Varies	!buyscythe	Allows the user to purchase a scythe whose quality is dependent upon the level of your forge.
	3,000,000	!claimthrone	Purchases (1) castle. Purchase of a castle allows the user to buy a dragon egg and megafarm. Protects against general pillaging, milk pillaging, and war dogs.
	100,000	!buymegafarm	One megafarm purchase allowed per castle. Provides daily payouts of 5,000 DBLN.
	10,000	!buydragonegg	One dragon egg purchase allowed per castle. Unknown perks await the users fortunate enough to purchase this item.
	50,000	!buyfarm	Provides daily payouts of 500 DBLN per farm owned. Currently discontinued, as all farms have been purchased. Farms might return as NFTs that can be traded.
	150/1	!buywood	Allows the user to purchase (1) piece of wood. Building a DBLN mining complex requires 500 pieces of wood and 500 pieces of steel. Cost varies, but it is currently 150 DBLN for (1) wood. Caution: Prices may vary.
	150/1	!buysteel	Allows the user to purchase (1) piece of steel. Building a DBLN mining complex requires 500 pieces of steel and 500 pieces of wood. Cost varies, but it is currently 150 DBLN for (1) steel. Caution: Prices may vary.
	50,000	!buybestiary	Allows the user to purchase a bestiary to house cows, ravens, or wolves.
	7,500	!buycow	Use the !milkcow X (X = The cow index number) to collect your rewards. Arguably and currently the highest ROI in the S&S game. You are allowed to purchase up to 10 cows and can milk them all every 6 hours. Milking each cow provides up to 200 DBLN. Caution: Cows can get sick or have their milk stolen by pillagers if you aren't properly protected!
	46,000	!buyraven	Allows the user to purchase up to (2) ravens. !buyraven - Owners can send the raven every 2 hours using !sendraven 0 or 1 to gather goodies for your travels.
	200,000	!buywolf	!buywolf - Owners can send the wolf every 45 minutes using !sendwolf to gather goodies for your travels. You also get to name your wolf.
	50,000	!buywardog	Must be pillager class to purchase. Use the command !sickem @discordname to attack a player. Healing the war dog costs 50 DBLN/HP. Eventually, your powerful puppy will die without HP restoration.

Combat

Category	Cost	Command	Description
Combat	None	!attack	Allows the user to combat a random monster whose difficulty is dependent upon the user's level.
	None	!quest	Allows the user to combat a more difficult monster.
	None	!visit_shaman	!visit_shaman allows players to be resurrected once every 24 hours. Also, depending on your level, you may visit the shaman to heal to 100, 300, or 1000 HP. Players at level 100 or above will only benefit from the shaman if they are < 1000 HP or are dead.
	None	!heal	!heal SIZE AMOUNT(small, medium, large, huge, gargantuan, or revive) - HP Benefit: S: 25, M: 75, L: 175, H: 400, G: 1500, revive 50. Players can utilize multiple potions of the same size by typing a number at the end of the command: !heal small 10.
	Varies	!upgrade attack/defense	Upgrade your character's attack or defense. The cost of the (1) point upgrade to attack, or defense varies by the user's level.

Dragon Owners

Dragons	None	!reignoffire	5-HR cooldown currently. Unleashes a torrent of dragon fire upon an unlucky player. The dragon's fire leaves your target in ashes while you collect 500 tokens from their burning corpse.

The Dragon's Vault

@masterrpgbot and @psyberx report that staking is now available in the game. With the new staking options, however, come the following allowances:

10,000 - 99,999 staked tokens: Withdraw 1% of their staked tokens.
100,000 - 499,999 staked tokens: Withdraw 10% of their staked tokens.
500,000 - 999,999 staked tokens: Withdraw 10% of their staked tokens.
1,000,000 or more staked tokens: Unlimited withdrawal limit.

The perks also include receiving many free HUGE potions per day based on the amount you stack. Also, you can receive reduced cooldowns on sending ravens. Visit the @psyberx Discord to inquire about details!

I’m glad you like the guide. I made something similar in update #6. Hopefully I can get out an ROI guide about the game late this summer. I’m currently at level 202. Levels 100-499 is a nasty grind.

It feels like it because it definitely does take a long time. Regarding the farms, @masterrpgbot mentioned something about converting farms to NFTs. In this manner people could buy or sell. I just don’t know if that’s in the horizon at this time.

Fishing

Purchase a boat for 300 wood. With current wood price at 150/1, it would cost 45,000 DBLN. However, the price of wood and steel can vary considerably.
Purchase wood using the !buywood command
Purchase a boat using the !buyboat command

Fishing Poles

Fishing poles come in wood, gold, and silver.
Purchase a fishing pole using the !buyfishingpole XXX command where XXX is the material wood, gold, or silver.
Costs are currently 15,000-DBLN for wood, 100,000-DBLN for silver, 1,000,000-DBLN for gold,

Thank you very much. I did something similar in update #6, but I needed to make it easier to follow. Yeah, it took a long time, but the players are certainly worth it. Most of all, I believe in @psyberx and @masterrpgbot. So it was difficult, but enjoyable too.
