The resolution of this bug and it's potential (probably?) performance impact is going to be a huge deal for many service providers. AWS bills will skyrocket as infrastructure is scaled out to accommodate it.

This fact seems to make this an impacting vulnerability unlike many we've seen before, where you can't just patch it and move on with your lives.
