Fuck this "downvote normilization" shit.

Powerful accounts are setting up meaningless little downvote accounts to constantly hand out downvotes to non-approved content creators. The purpose of these endless annoying downvotes is twofold - to dish out little micro doses of negativity, and to get people used to constantly seeing that fucking broken heart icon on all their posts.

Stage two of the plan will be to constantly dish out larger downvotes to non approved content once people have stopped noticing the endless micro downvotes. This is another fucked up psyop.

It has often been said that bands like the Sex Pistols and the Velvet Underground changed the face of music not because of the size of their audience, but because of the number of fans they inspired to start their own bands.

Here on Hive we have that opportunity as well. Music is dead and buried, replaced by insipid programming noises, but the internet is still a stage and we need to keep moving to where the action is.

Even if Hive is just a low budget club with a real audience of only a few hundred, we still have the power to walk out onto that a stage and sing "God save the queen, she ain't no human being"

There are powers that do not want us singing things like that, because they know just how close to revealing the truth we are.

And those fuckers are crawling all over the internet doing their best to hide all forms of truth.

Sometimes they act with big bold moves of oppression, but mostly they just move slowly and subtly to crush all us useless eaters, with relentless little increases in restrictions.

They are here on Hive just as they were on Steemit. Fuck them and the horse they rode in on. In one of my previous posts I talked of "the four Hive accounts of the apocalypse" and vaguely implied we would do something.

Well here is a start - if we see misfits posting great content and going unnoticed, we might just gang up and give it our worthless little upvotes. Because if it's annoying when our oppressors give out worthless auto downvotes, maybe it's also psychologically empowering for us to give out more upvotes.
